At-Twahum - Visualization, Mankind's Journey to the Hereafter
Al-Harith ibn Asad Al-Muhasibi
Translated by Muhammad Dagher
Edited by Selma Cook
About the Book:
Allah, Exalted be He, created Jinn and mankind to worship Him and made their final destination either to Paradise of Hell-fire. So Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily Allah, Exalted be He, will admit them to Paradise in the Hereafter. however, whoever turns away from His reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qu'ran nor acts on it, and so on) verily form him is Hell-fire.
This book presents a very vivid picture and precise details of what leads any person to Paradise or Hell-fire. The author, Al-Harith ibn Asad Al-Muhaibi, used this approach to explain for whom Paradise will be and for whom Hell-fire will be, and the reasons and the deeds that lead to each. In addition, he offers a panorama of what will happen to every human being from the moment when the stupor and throes of death overcome him/her till the resurrection and judgement through using the style of encouragement and intimidating warnings that are substantiated by what is mentioned in the Nobel Qur'an and the Sunnah.
